Jamie Decker, Nursing Assistant II from the St James Veterans Home has been selected as the Missouri Veterans Commission January 2008 Employee of the Month.

Jamie was selected for her outstanding leadership and abilities as Lead Worker in the St James Home Special Care Unit. During a recent occurrence Jamie provided a solution to a difficult situation for a resident’s family and staff. As the Lead Worker, Jamie assessed the situation with the welfare and safety of all concerned and offered an appropriate solution which worked out best for all involved. Jamie demonstrated great initiative and concern for the well-being of the resident and the staff providing care.
