Missouri Veterans Commission - Mexico Veterans Home

Missouri Veterans Home - Mexico opened its doors on April 8th, 1985, and is located in Mexico Missouri. Since its beginning, MVH-Mexico has prided itself on honoring our state’s heroes by giving best-in-class care. Not only do we take care of each Veterans physical needs, but we ensure their social needs are met as well by offering a wide variety of activities like Bingo, garden club, pet therapy, and so much more. Our Maintenance Staff has even built raised garden beds outside that many veterans utilize to grow their own vegetables. The nice walking trail outside gives Veterans an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and the local baseball team practices at the fields adjacent to the Home.

The 2025 monthly rate for residency is $2,697. This rate is adjusted each year with an expected COLA increase each January. Check out the FAQ sheet for more information. The resident charge includes the following services:

Tour MVH - Mexico

Interested in a tour of our Home? We offer in-person tours for Veterans interested in living in our Home. Each home has a secured dementia unit that includes a dining room, activity area, and enclosed courtyard. We pride ourselves on offering a community where Veterans are cared for by highly trained team members in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
