Governor Nixon Appoints Scott C. Englund to Missouri Veterans Commission


Governor Nixon's Office announced the appointment of Scott C. Englund of Jefferson City, Missouri to the Missouri Veterans Commission effective September 13, 2010 for a term ending November 2, 2013, and until his successor is duly appointed. Englund replaces Joe Frank whose term had ended. 
Englund is a retired Major from the Missouri National Guard and a veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq. He also holds memberships with Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion. Englund is employed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's Office of Inspector General in the Office of Audit Services.
