Korean War Monument Dedication to be Held Veterans Day at Fort Leonard Wood Veterans Cemetery


On November 11, 2013 at 9:00 am the Pulaski County Korean Association (PCKA) will dedicate and present to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery – Fort Leonard Wood a monument dedicated to the memory of the 358 soldiers from 62 counties surrounding Pulaski County killed during the Korean War. 
Mrs. Kyong Rainbolt, President of the PCKA will unveil the monument with the assistance of Consul Jin-Hyun Lee from the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Chicago, IL.  At the conclusion of the unveiling and acceptance of the monument by Stan Baughn, Director of the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Program, Mr. Lee will present to each Korean War Veteran in attendance a 60th anniversary commemorative coin in recognition of their service and sacrifice for the people of South Korea.
