Kim Cleeton Appointed Director of the Veterans Homes Program for the Missouri Veterans Commission




JEFFERSON CITY - Missouri Veterans Commission Executive Director Larry D. Kay today announced the appointment of Kim Cleeton as Director of the Missouri Veterans Commission's Veterans Homes Program. Ms. Cleeton served as Interim Director since November 2009, and officially assumes the Director's position March 1, 2010.
            Cleeton has been a registered nurse (RN) for 25 years. Prior positions held at the Missouri Veterans Commission include seven years as the Quality Management Nurse and recently as the Assistant Superintendent of Homes from May 2009 to November 2009. Before working for the Missouri Veterans Commission she worked for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as a Facility Advisory Nurse for long term care facilities.        
"Ms. Cleeton's clinical, operational, and staff experience make her the ideal choice as the Director of our Homes Program," said Director Kay, "Her drive and leadership will ensure that Missouri's Veterans will continue to receive the finest skilled care in the nation.”
