The Missouri Veterans Commission will hold an open house on November 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at its Independence, Missouri Veterans Service Office location at 3675 S. Noland Road, Suite 125. The public is invited to attend and visit with Missouri Veterans Commission leaders and Veterans Service Officers.
Veterans Service Officers at the Independence location will assist Veterans and their dependents in Jackson and Cass Counties with filing for VA benefits, including submitting the claims applications with all necessary documentation. These benefits include service-connected compensation, non-service connected disability pension, education and training, vocational rehabilitation, burial, and survivor benefits. They will also assist claimants with health care eligibility, VA Home Loan Guaranty, and other Veterans benefits.
